Symptoms of Ovarian Cysts

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

Human beings are adaptable, long-lasting creatures. Average lifespan in the developed countries is up around 80 years! As scientific and medical knowledge grows, we have come to realize that there are both short term factors and intermediate to long-term factors that affect our health.

For example, there is a generally accepted minimum daily Vitamin C intake necessary to prevent scurvy. Once we thought that this minimum amount was all that anyone needed. Subsequent scientific studies showed us that increased Vitamin C intake had significant health and well-being benefits.

The cycle for getting scurvy is measured in months. There is a longer general health cycle in play, measured in years, which calls for much higher vitamin C intake levels.

There are still longer cycles of nutrient deprivation and lifestyles involving many different nutrients, phytochemicals, antioxidants, etc. Long-term deprivations of these seem to lead to problems usually associated with aging, like diabetes, heart disease, senile dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

On the dark side there are pollutants, toxins, carcinogens and other substances, both known and as-yet-unknown, that have cumulative life-shortening effects on everyone.

Knowing this encourages us to move away from commercial drugs in favor of natural cures whenever available.

This new perspective now helps us to find a highly effective psoriasis natural treatment, it helps us in shrinking ovarian cysts. For more information on curing ovarian and uterine cysts, click here .

Our biochemistry is quite complex. There are apparently genetic links to more diseases and conditions than we ever suspected just a few years ago. As we continue to decode the complex interrelations of genetics, DNA, biochemistry and causes and effects of what we ingest, we are finding new solutions to old problems in often surprising places.

Skin Cream Ingredients Can Do More Harm Than Good!

Monday, December 7th, 2009

Suffering from dry, itchy skin is a problem for women everywhere. Especially if, for whatever reason, you have to spend a lot of time outdoors exposed to the sun. The extra skin care that is needed to fight this condition is a continuing hassle. Having a regular daily skin care routine can help with dry skin, but your choice of skin care cream is critical.

When you are shopping for skin care products, always remember the law of cravat emptor (buyer beware!). The ingredients of any skin cream will determine it’s quality. There are skin care products out there that are bad for dry skin!

Any product that lists alcohol of any kind in their ingredients must be avoided. Alcohol will only help to dry your skin even more and make your condition worse.

Avoid skin creams that “smell good”, as fragrance is a useless filler ingredient. Creams that add fragrance will likely contain other useless fillers, as well.

Some low quality skin creams will include derivatives of natural products. Dioxane, an artificial derivative of coconut cream, is a good example. There are anecdotal reports of people that have used a product containing contracting all kinds of skin problems.

Using a product that contains the “essence” of anything is also a bad idea. The essence of anything means that the ingredient is similar to that thing, but, is actually a man-made chemical. Instead, look for products that contain extracts, which are made from the real thing.

How To Build Muscle Fast and Get Yourself The Body You Have Always Wanted

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

There’s no better feeling than looking in the mirror and seeing the fit body you’ve always dreamed of having.  We get a lot of emails about working out so we thought it was great time to discuss how you can build muscle fast and get in great shape.

Let’s get started.  Building muscle fast means you have to make sure you’re exercising at least five times a week.  Maybe you already do this, but I hear far too many people saying that only exercising three times every week will do the trick.  Don’t get me wrong – three times is better than zero, but if you want to get the body you truly want quick then put in the extra effort and train a minimum of five days each week.

Second, remember that your body needs lots of protein!  If you are curious about how to build muscle quickly, remember that protein provides your body with the building blocks to not only develop new muscle, but also to repair any existing muscle.

I personally recommend using a protein powder supplement.  They aren’t expensive and they’re a quick and simple way to give your body extra protein.  If you don’t take one, just make sure to eat a lot of high protein foods like red meat or chicken.

When it comes to muscle building techniques, the best tip is to make sure you are using proper form at all times during weight lifting.  I’m sure you’ve seen people at the gym that are trying to lift as much weight as possible and as a result they use ugly form.  Don’t be one of them!

These three suggestions are crucial to keep in mind if you want to get that body you’ve always wanted.  Reshaping your body really isn’t that challenging.  You’ll be surprised at how fast the results come when you put in the effort and dedication.  All the best!

I Hate It Injections of Botox

Sunday, October 4th, 2009

What is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure currently? In fact, the answer is pretty simple. Nothing else but Botox injection. Happily for those who want to improve their looks but deathly frightened of any form of operation, this option is suitable for them.

Do you realize that the popular Botox injections is a toxic substance. Botox cosmetic is the trade name for botulinum toxin A. In reality, Botox is a toxin. Not just any venom, but a venom that is a by-product of botulism, a form of food poisoning. In the beginning, Botox was used to treat eye muscle disorders . For example, misaligned eyes and blepharospasm or uncontrollable blinking. But it was only a matter of time before its cosmetic benefits were discovered. Health professional found this when they reported that the frown lines between the eyebrows of patients (seem to|appeared to|turned|became) soften after injections.

Countless men and women now consider Botox treatment as part of their regular beauty routines. And additional people are getting hooked on it due to it has no obvious side effects. Well, the use is so normal that people now hold so-called Botox parties, a group get-together while their doctors administer the injections.

Detox Weight Loss Are They A Good Idea?

Friday, September 25th, 2009

One weight loss strategy that is all the rage now is a detox diet plan . What are these plans and what do they do for you? The theory is that certain foods ‘cleanse’ the organs and colon of certain ‘toxic’ chemicals and substances. You often hear that there is a ’spackle’ of fecal matter clinging to the colon that harbors toxins.

If you have ever had a colonoscopy, you know that this is just not true. You get ‘cleaned out’ to undergo one of these procedures, and no doctor could do this test if there were pounds of ‘impacted’ matter in your colon. It’s a myth that this condition even exists – and doing this ‘detox’ can actually hurt your health. A detox diet plan is really not a shortcut for losing weight as some might suggest.

Truly, detox diet recipes don’t help you lose weight, and they can be dangerous. You really don’t have ‘impacted’ matter in your colon – ask anyone who has had a colonoscopy. This is a myth that is what I call ’sham science’. It sounds good and reasonable, but is just not true.

When creating special menus, like a diabetes diet menu , eat foods that don’t contribute to glycemic fluctuations, eat smaller portions more often through your day. You’ll get the benefit of a more stable blood sugar, and you’ll see weight loss as a bonus benefit.

Hair loss – can it be prevented?

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

Hair loss and hair thinning can produce extreme emotional distress for many men who are sensitive about their looks.

In the past, the only solutions to hair loss problems were to either disguise the ‘bald spot’ by thickening the remaining hair and combing it over the thinning or balding area; or to use a wig or hairpiece.

Neither solution was particularly effective and, in many cases, produced very poor cosmetic results that further eroded the sufferer’s self-esteem.

Nowadays far more attention is being paid to the underlying reasons why hair thinning and baldness occur in the first place. For many men, the cause is due to the retardation of follicle growth caused by the presence of dihydrotestostrone (DHT). DHT is a by-product of testosterone.

If DHT production could be stopped, or at least reduced, then this should mean that follicle damage is also reduced. Combined with a mixture of essential minerals amd vitamins that stimulate healthy hair growth, then you have the perfect combination for a successful hair loss treatment. Just such a product is Provillus Hair Growth Treatment.

Provillus is an established product that blocks DHT production. It also provides a unque blend of targeted nutrients and natural ingredients to promote and prolong strong healthly hair growth. And if you buy Provillus now, you are entitled to a 2 month free trial of the product to experience the benefits for yourself.

Permanent Cures for Hemorrhoids

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

Practically no one wants to talk about hemorrhoids. Neither does anyone want to have them. However, if you DO have hemorrhoids you really need to find out what to do about them.

You “Google” the problem on the Net and mostly what you find are ads for over-the-counter creams, lotions, ointments to provide “relief”. Most don’t mention that even if they work, the benefit is only temporary. In a day or two you are back buying more to use again.

You actually need cures for hemorrhoids that are not a continuing series of short-term treatments, but are real, long-term lasting cures!

There is a cause and effect for everything. If you focus only on the effect you only get temporary solutions. For long-term solution, really effective treatment of hemorrhoids, you need to go to the cause and remove/change that.

Hemorrhoids are not really contagious! They are not an infectious disease, they are brought on by lifestyle and environmental factors! You get hemorrhoids for certain reasons of lifestyle and how you treat yourself. If you change these causative factors, you go a very long way towards getting rid of the problem they bring on.

Doctors and Pharmacists will be happy to “treat” you, for as long as you keep paying them. No one is as interested in actually curing hemorrhoids, once and for all time, as you are. It’s your body, your life. Take charge! Don’t settle for second best!

Focusing on only short term relief solutions could trap you into a lifetime of paying for the same treatment while the condition gets worse. But if you focus on the best way to get rid of external hemroids, you can find a cure and live your life !
