Should You Use PLR Articles?
Private Label rights or PLR is a jargon used to describe articles that can be bought for as less as 15 to 20 cents each. They are very useful in adding search engine friendly content to your site at the same time making it more interesting site to the visitors. In other words, PLR articles are articles you can buy, which usually sold in packages or as part of a membership, then edit and use as you wish. The biggest advantage of using PLR articles is you do not need to link back to someone’s website whereas using free reprint articles require you to link back to their website.
Use the same content more often. When you purchase PLR articles you aren’t limited to simply placing them on your website. You can do so much more with PLR articles to increase your profits. Use several articles to create a newsletter, ebook, or ecourse. Another alternative is to take a single article, break it up into different sections, and place blurbs on your website. Remember, always think outside the box! This will make far more in profits than sticking to the traditional methods of utilizing PLR articles.
If possible, always modify the article in wording without losing the meaning, especially if you plan on submitting them to article directories. The amount that you alter the article depends on what you plan to do with it. For instance, if you just want to make the article for your own use, you can get away with changing anywhere from 25% – 50% of it. However, if you are going to submit content to an article directory, it needs to be completely rewritten as your submitted article will be manually reviewed by human.
If you do not know how to rewrite an article, you can always hire rewriters. The cost is about 3-5 dollars per article. It is very possible to hire a rewriter for a lower enough price that you still receive a substantial savings on the PLR article pack.
Another alternative is to simply bulk together some PLR articles that have the same subject, and then make them into a mini e-course which can be used to collect opt-in by turning it into a PDF document and giving it away to your website visitors.
You may worry that these articles may be used multiple times by several others too. However, the good thing is that these articles can be rewritten or altered slightly to go well with your selected topicsubject, keyword densities, and then published as new content. Remember, all rights belong to these articles are given away to you and you can alter them as you wish. The membership to these PLR article sites is limited because of the fact that not many people can be granted access to the same articles.
Usually, PLR articles are used on more than one site. An example: to buy PLR articles that cost $100 per month, $100 a month spread between four to six sites comes to only $1200 a year, which is an affordable business investment when comparing to the cost of hiring your own writer, which usually cost $10 to $50 per article. When purchasing PLR articles, always remember to take the time to assess the content quality and only stay with the one that believe in quality control. Well-written, carefully-edited PLR articles are usually well worth the monthly fee.
