2012: the End of the World
Many people seem to believe that the year 2012 end of the world disaster is truly going to happen. Will it? And what will it bring? There are many theories that occur about this. Some people believe that the earth is going to be torn apart by some sort of spatial object. This could be a so-called black hole coming too near our solar system. Yet others believe that the so-called Planet X called Nibiru will make a retuen after a long orbital path around the sun. The theorists think that Planet X will be passing very close to the Earth at some stage and it will be this that causes the earth’s destruction.
Another theory is that a huge asteroid is going to slam into the planet. But scientists have stated that there are no known asteroids heading for earth in that time frame. Although there will be a “close” encounter, this “close” is actually eighteen times the distance from the earth to the moon away. Although in astronomical terms this is close, it is not close enough to cause concern amongst astronomers and scientists.
Another theory is a massive solar flare causing a geomagnetic reversal event. This reversal will cause the earth’s magnetic north and south poles to switch their polarity, which according to some, will cause massive natural disasters across the planet.
Many sites have appeared on the internet offering theories, advice and info on the phenomenon that is 2012, but only one has masses of information on the subject. It is december2012endofworld.com. This website features on all aspects of 2012, including a rundown of potential disasters. It does not matter if you have just found out about this topic, or whether you consider yourself an expert, this site will give a fascinating insight.
